Risaralda will have one of the two most modern logistics platforms in the country, which will reduce the time and logistics costs of companies installed in the national territory. Its location follows a broad pre-feasibility study carried out by the National Government.
Thanks to its excellent connectivity and location, the logistics platform of the Coffee Axis will be located in La Virginia, neighboring town of Pereira and next to the International Free Trade Zone of the city. The platform will be located on the Medellín – Pereira highway, which will link both cities with a journey of 2 hours and 30 minutes at the end of 2019.

With this road you will also have easy access to the port of Antioquia of Urabá on the Atlantic, as well as Buenaventura on the Pacific, being 520 km and 260 km away respectively.

The Logistics Platform of the Coffee Region will have an area of 180 ha and will serve as a dry port, for which it will support the export and import activity of the port of Buenaventura, offering the following services:

* Customs.
* Inspection.
* Container yard.
* Storage.
* Warehouses for the installation of productive and logistic activities.

Currently, the perfectibility of the project is available and it is expected that by the second half of 2018 the feasibility and structuring of the project will be available. Once you have this, you will have knowledge of the following:

* Legal channel for the development of the logistics platform.
* Phases and times.
* Price of the land.
